About FE Guess

FE Guess is a fan-made guessing game built and maintained by one independent developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo or Intelligent Systems. Fire Emblem and all character names belong to their respective owners.

The game is simple: one hidden character per day, eight guesses, and colored feedback on seven attributes. Unlimited Mode plays the same way without the daily limit.

I built FE Guess because attribute-guessing puzzles suit a series with more than three decades of characters, and I wanted a version whose data decisions are written down instead of implied. The roster, the matching rules, and every field definition live on the characters page.

The character data is compiled by hand. With 31 records and plenty of judgment calls, something will eventually be wrong; when it is, I check against the games and fix it. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.

The background artwork is an original illustration created for this site. It does not depict Fire Emblem characters, and no official artwork, logos, sprites, or other game assets are used anywhere on the site.
