This policy describes what FE Guess (feguess.com) stores, which third parties are involved, and the choices you have.

What the site stores on your device

FE Guess has no accounts and no sign-up. Your progress on the daily puzzle, meaning the names of the characters you guessed today, is saved in your browser's local storage under a key for the current UTC day. That data stays on your device; the site never transmits it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it. Unlimited Mode stores nothing at all.

Server logs

The site is served as static files. The hosting provider keeps standard request logs, such as IP address, browser user agent, and requested URL, for security and uptime purposes. FE Guess runs no analytics scripts of its own.

Advertising

FE Guess serves no ads today; the plan is to fund the site with ads through Google AdSense. Once ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites, and Google's advertising cookies will let it and its partners serve ads based on those visits. From that point on you can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors' cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. This section will be updated before the first ad is served.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

When ads launch, visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will see a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before any personalized ad is served, and will be able to change or withdraw their choices at any time through that message. Until then the site sets no advertising cookies and shows no consent prompt, because there is nothing to consent to.

Children

FE Guess is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. Beyond the hosting logs described above, the site collects no personal information from anyone.
